Anxiety has started mounting among stakeholders as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirants await the outcome of the screening committee.

This is coming as the Chairman of the Screening Committee, Senator David Mark, on Friday, told newsmen in Abuja after the conclusion of the exercise at Legacy House, Abuja, that two of the seventeen aspirants screened were disqualified.

Mark said the disqualified aspirants would forfeit the N40 million they paid for the Expression of Interest and nomination Forms.

He, however, declined to name the two aspirants but said they have right to appeal against their disqualification.

The former senate president noted that the aspirants did not meet the requirements.

He said that the panel would forward the report of the screening to the PDP National Working Committee for consideration tonight.
