Tragedy As Former Super Eagles Star Slumps, Dies In Hotel

Late Justice Christopher

Tragedy has hit the Nigerian Football Federation as a former Super Eagles midfielder, Justice Christopher, reportedly slumped and died.

Christopher slumped at his hotel complex in Jos, Plateau State on Tuesday and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

He was 40.

Late Christopher played for Nigeria national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He accrued eleven caps for the Super Eagles.

The deceased last played club football for Nasarawa United in the Nigerian league.

He played for several clubs, including Katsina United, Sharks F.C., Bendel Insurance FC, Antwerp FC (Belgium), Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), Trelleborgs FF (Sweden), Alania Vladikavkaz in Russia and Herfølge BK in Denmark.
