Tinubu’s Camp Kicks As Buhari Reportedly Picks Abdullahi Adamu For APC Chairmanship

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly endorsed Abdullahi Adamu, a former governor of Nasarawa State, as the chairman of the ruling party ahead the March 26 National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC),
The sources said the President endorsed Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who chaired the reconciliation committee of the party, during his meeting with APC governors at the State House on Tuesday.
Senator Adamu will take over from Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, who has been leading the party in temporary capacity for two years.
This development has according to other sources infuriated party leaders loyal to the National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu’s camp is said to prefer another former governor of Nasarawa state, Tanko Almakura, as chairman of the party.
