BREAKING: Former Delta Assembly Lawmaker, Dennis Omovie Is Dead

A former Delta State House of Assembly member, Hon. Dennis Omovie, is dead.

BIGPENNGR reports that Omovie who represented Warri South Constituency II, in the Delta House for 16 years, was confirmed dead in a statement by Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Micheal Tidi on Wednesday.

Tidi, in a statement by his media aide, Francis Sadhere, consoled the family of former lawmaker describing the death as “a monumental loss to the people of Warri South and Uvwie LGAs.”

His passage was also announced in today’s Wednesday 11th August, 2021 plenary by the Delta House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Oborevwori called on the house to observe 2 minutes silence in honour of the departed soul.
