Information reaching BIGPENNGR indicates there is a new twist to the Olu of Warri succession battle as one of the contender to the stool, Prince Harrison Jalla has been arrested and detained by operatives of Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in Ikeja, Lagos.

BIGPNNGR understands Prince Jalla was secretly arrested in Lagos and detained since two days now following a petition written against him by one of the arrowheads to the succession battle.

Prince Jalla, who sent a distress message to some relatives and friends about his ordeal alleged that he was being framed up owing to a lawsuit he filed in Warri to stop the illegality taking place in the Olu succession battle.

He alleged that there is plot to either keep him in jail or have him eliminated on the way from Lagos to Warri.

Jalla, who is the President of National Association of Nigeria Footballers, NANF, has been having a running legal battle with NFF president, Amaju Pinnick over alleged financial misappropriation in the Nigeria Football Federation.
