Gunmen Assassinate Popular Delta Hotelier, Close Friend

A popular hotelier in Udu, near Warri, has been reportedly assassinated.

BIGPENNGR.COM reports the hotelier, identified as Chief Elvis Otedafe Onojerame, popularly known as Prince Kasuwa, was killed on Sunday alongside his close friend along Orhuwhorun Road in Udu Council Area of the state.

Prince Kasuwa is the owner of Widisag Hotel, along Orhuwhorun Road in Udu council area.

According to sources, Kasuwa was shot at close range inside his Mercedes Benz car which was snatched by the assailants who also shot his friend.

The incident happened at about 2.20pm on Sunday, close to First Bank off Udu Road, eyewitness disclosed.

The Delta State Police Command has since confirmed the incident.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said “it is true. There was an assassination. Yes, two people.”
