“Immediately after the announcement, knowing our very frail state of health facilities, @NigeriaGov under the leadership of President @MBuhari started putting in place containment measures to help meet the challenges that had started crippling the economies and exposed inadequacies even in the best health systems.

“The PTF would like to draw our attention to the subtle change in the epicentres of the virus. We all recall that Kano, Lagos and Ogun states were the initial epicentres; and these to Uyo at a time and now Plateau state.”

Musa Shuaibu Nuhu, the Director General/Chief Executive Officer (DG/CEO) of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), was quoted to have said, “We have now fixed Sept. 5, 2020 for the resumption of international flights”
