Nigeria Records 15 COVID-19 Deaths, 664 New Cases In 18 States

No fewer than 15 persons have reportedly died from Coronavirus related deaths within last 24 hours, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced after the country recorded 664 new confirmed cases on Saturday.

According to NCDC, the 664 new cases were reported from 18 states, bringing the toll to 31, 987 cases, 13,103 recoveries, and 724 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Announcing the figures, NCDC said that Lagos led the leader-board of states with the virus with (224) cases, followed by FCT(105), Edo had (85), Ondo got (64), while Kaduna got (32).

Imo (27), Osun(19), Plateau(17), Oyo(17), Ogun(17), Rivers(14), Delta(11), Adamawa(10), Enugu(7), Nassarawa (6), Gombe(3), Abia(3) while Ekiti had (3) as of Saturday.
