Nigeria COVID-19 Cases Surge Past 9,000 As Lagos Tops Curve With 254

Nigeria on Friday recorded 387 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), out of which Lagos, the epicenter of the infection reported 254, bringing a total of 9302 nationwide.

BIGPEN reports only two new deaths were recorded bringing a total of 261 fatalities against the initial 259 as of Thursday night.

Announcing the new cases via its twitter handle Friday night, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), says the country has 9302 cases, 2697 recoveries and 261 deaths.
