Coronavirus Spreads To Kogi As Nigeria Records Highest Single-day Cases
Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 389 new cases of coronvirus (COVID-19) with Lagos recording 256 cases bringing a total of 8,733 cases nationwide.
BIGPEN reports that Kogi state, among the two states yet to record a single case since the outbreak of the virus in the country, recorded two index cases on Wednesday.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), which announced the new cases via its twitter handle, says Nigeria recorded five new deaths bringing a total of 254 fatalities against the initial 249 as of Tuesday night.
The country now has 8,733 cases, 2,501 recoveries and 254 deaths.
