COVID-19: Additional 242 Positive Cases Recorded In Nigeria

There are fresh 242 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) recorded from 14 states of the federation and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory as of Monday night.

With the new cases, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), late Monday, says the country now has 4641 cases of COVID-19 – out of which 902 has been discharged and 150 deaths recorded.

Of the 242 new cases, Lagos state, adjudged as epicenter of the virus has 88 cases followed by Kano which has 64, Katsina has 49-Katsina while Kaduna has 13 new cases.

Ogun has 9, Gombe has 6, Adamawa recorded 4, FCT has 3 while Ondo, Oyo, Rivers, Zamfara, Borno, and Bauchi have one cases each respectively.
