Alleged N650m Mansion: I Didn’t Buy Any House In Enugu Or Elsewhere – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, former vice presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general elections and two-time governor of Anambra state, has denied speculations making the round that he recently bought a mansion worth N650 million in Enugu state.
BIGPEN reports that Obi spoke following the allegations raised by a known twitter user who styled himself as CBN Gov Akinsola, a Diaspora Campaigner/Social Media Strategist/Member APC presidential Campaign Team @cbngov_akin1, who posted a pictures of a house claiming it was acquired by the PDP presidential running mate in Enugu.
Obi who took to his verified twitter handle to dismissed the ‘unsubstantiated’ claims, said the only houses he is interested in building, for now, are hospitals and schools.
“Contrary to the reports on social media, I didn’t buy any house in Enugu or elsewhere. I do not need a house outside of Anambra for now, and I am committed to living in my house in Onitsha. The houses I am interested in building, for now, are hospitals and schools. -PO”, he tweeted.
