BREAKING: INEC Headquarters Abuja On Fire Again

A fire incident has been reported at the headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The fire occurred at the Media Centre of the commission in Abuja on Friday.

INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman of its Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, confirmed the incident.

He said: “Yes, it’s true, there was a fire. I’m going to the office to find out what happened. I will get back to you.”

BIGPEN reports that a similar fire incident had few days ago been reported at the Headquarters  of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Maitama, Abuja.

This is coming few weeks after Treasury House, headquarters of Accountant General of the Federation (OAFF) was similarly consumed by fire.
