Rain Storm Blows Off Roof Of Warri Prison

Rain storms has reportedly blown off the roof of the two-storey building of Nigerian Correctional Service in Warri, Delta State.

The prison popularly known as Okere Prison, is partially opened to the inmate as the heavy rain which lasted about 15 minutes Monday evening shattered the entire roof of the building.

BIGPEN reports that there was no report of escape from the prison following the development though the about 100 meters perimeter fence of the prison also collapsed to the effect of the storm.

No official statement have been release as of time of filling this report on Tuesday morning.
