After hours of intense deliberations, following the Supreme Court’s judgement that stopped the inauguration of Chief David Lyon of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the governor of Bayelsa state, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Friday declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Douye Diri, Bayelsa Governor-elect.
