Imo Governor-elect Uzodinma, Deputy Take Oath Of Office Amid Tight Security

Senator Hope Uzodinma, of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), has been sworn into office as duely elected governor of Imo state.
He was sworn in alongside his deputy governor, Professor Placid Njoku after picking his certificate of return earlier from INEC headquarters in Abuja
The duo were administered with the oath of office by the Chief Justice of the state, Justice Pascal Nnadi, at the late hours of Wednesday in a ceremony held inside the Imo State Government House amidst tight security.
Recalls that the Supreme Court had on Tuesday in a surprised judgement nullified the election of Emeka Ihedioha and returned Uzodinma winner of the 2019 governorship poll.
