Delta On Verge Of A Major Industrial Breakthrough – Okowa’s Aide

Published

on

The Special Assistant to the Delta State Government on Youths Development, Comrade Garvin Iduh, says Delta is on the verge of a major industrial breakthrough with the recent visit of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to China to negotiate huge investment and tourist opportunities for the state.

Iduh stated this while addressing a cross section of youths who were at his residence to congratulate him on his appointment.

He admonished the youths to continue to support the government to succeed, saying that Delta is on the verge of a massive industrial breakthrough.

“As you must have read in the papers and even in Social Media,  the Governor was in China to negotiate huge investment and tourist opportunities for our state.

“Sooner than later, the gains of this voyage will begin to manifest in the state. We are on the verge of a major industrial breakthrough and I can tell you that it won’t take long before other states begin to envy us.

“Okowa mean well for Delta and Deltans. Let us continue to support him in our prayers”, he said.

He said that the Okowa’s ‘stronger Delta’ mantra is on cause, adding that the people of state will in no distance time begin to experience transformations higher and bigger than they saw in the first term.

While describing the governor as a man who is desirous of leaving the state better than he met it, Iduh thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve in his administration.

“Let me first use this opportunity to thank my boss and leader, His Excellency Sen.  Dr  Ifeanyi Okowa, for finding me worthy to be appointed as one of his aides.

“From the very beginning, I have always trusted in his ability to give Deltans a truly purposeful leadership. His first term was very eventful and I am convinced that this second tenure will witness a higher level of development more than ever experienced before in the state”, he said.

Continuing, he said, “when you take a look at the Isoko section of the Asaba-Ughelli road,  you will see a remarkable improvement. Ditto to other roads in Isoko.

“While we are hoping that other parts of the much talked about Asaba-Ughelli road will get the desired attention,  I think it is only fair and charitable that we thank His Excellency for what he has done so far”, he added.
