Diehard APC Loyalist Celebrating Buhari’s Tribunal Victory Stabbed By PDP Supporter In Delta

Elvis Omoiri, believed to be a diehard fan of President Muhammadu Buhari is currently battling for his life after he was allegedly attacked by a supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) while celebrating All Progressives Congress, (APC), presidential tribunal victory in Effurun, near Warri, Delta State.

The victim was reportedly stabbed multiple times by one Best Uduophori, a drinking parlour operators in Effurun, near Warri while him and his friends were celebrating the victory of APC and its presidential candidate, Buhari against the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar at the February 23 presidential poll.

BIGPEN Online understands that Mr. Omoiri who hails from Ivrogbo-irri, Isoko South local government area of Delta state, received multiple bottle stab after he disagreed with the said Uduophori over Buhari’s Wednesday presidential election tribunal victory.

According to eyewitness, Omoiri, had gone to a Beer parlour belonging to Uduophori at Okoloba, Effurun in Warri on Thursday evening to have some drinks with friends in celebration of the President’s tribunal victory when he was stabbed by the drinking spot owner who is a member of PDP.

Our source disclosed, “Trouble started when Elvis Omoiri, began to narrate to his friends his joy and how he felt after the judgement was given in favour of President Buhari. 

“As Elvis was pouring praises and encomium on Buhari, Best and Elvis got disagreed on some issue and Best got offended and could no longer hold his anger and before anyone could say jack Robinson, he has broken a bottle and began to stab Elvis everywhere in his body.

“Best has his beer parlour in front of Elvis compound and before now Best has always antagonized Elvis because of their political differences and while discussing they had this disagreement and stabbed Elvis everywhere and was even resisting those who tried to rush Elvis to the hospital. Elvis is an Isoko boy from Ivrogbo-irri, Isoko South local government area of Delta state and a die hard believer of the Buhari APC led government.”

BIGPEN Online learnt that the victim who was rushed to nearby clinic after the attack is responding to treatment but couldn’t speak when our correspondent visited the hospital on Friday.

Meanwhile, Policemen from the area command Warri were sighted at the hospital probably to get statement from the victim.

The said attacker has since fled the area and currently being hunt for by the police.

Our police source said that once the suspect is arrested and investigation concluded, he would be charged to court for attempted murder.
