Though details of the arrest were still sketchy, report says the BNYL members were on their way to the inauguration of the Biafra National Council (BNC) chaired by former militant leader Alhaji Asari Dokubo.
News Express, in its report Saturday quoted Nwosoriba, who doubles as Secretary to the BNC Coalition as saying; “I escaped from the arrest along Bayelsa junction. Right now about 100 of our members have been taken to State CID in Yenagoa.
“The Police has not explained what our offences are.” Nwosoriba said in the report in which the newspaper said “they could not confirm if inauguration of the BNC by Dokubo went ahead as scheduled or not”.
