JUST IN: Senate Will ‘Receive’ Buhari’s Ministerial Nominees This Week – Lawan

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, President Muhammadu Buhari would formally forward the names of ministerial nominees to the Nigeria Senate before the week runs out.

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan confirmed this on Wednesday during senate planery.

He said that the much-awaited list of ministerial nominees would be submitted to the Senate before the end of this week for approval.

Responding to a motion raised at the floor of the House, Lawan disclosed that the shortlisted nominees would be scrutinised before the Senate embarks on its annual vacation on July 26.
