Delta APC Endorses Senator Omo-Agege’s Deputy Senate President Bid

The Jones Ode Erue-led State Working Committee (SWC) of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has threw its weight behind Senator Ovie Omo-Agege ambition to contest for position of the Deputy Senate President in the 9th Assembly.

The party, in a statement signed by Nick Ovuakporie, Director, Communications APC Delta State, for the State Chairman, said that Omo-Agege, who represents Delta Central Senatorial district is intellectually exposed, experience and qualified for the position.

The party said that Omo-Agege is fully backed and supported overwhelmingly by stakeholders and entire members of the APC in the state to contest the position.

“The party emphasized that the decision to endorse distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for the position of deputy Senate President in the 9th Senate, is the official position of the APC in Delta State”.

The party said that the endorsement is being followed by intense lobbying of other critical stakeholders across the country to ensure the successful emergence of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as deputy Senate President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Further more, the party hereby issues a stern warning to disgruntled elements who are in the habit of issuing uncoth and unauthorized statements, using the name of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State to desist forthwith vowing to weird the big stick if wise counsel fails to prevail”.
