Uduaghan Refutes Claims That He Left PDP Because Okowa Doesn’t Listen To “Wise Counsel”

Immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has reacted to report quoting him as saying; “I Left PDP Because Okowa Doesn’t Listen To Wise Counsel”.
The former governor described the report credited to him as untrue, adding it is the handiwork of detractors.
Uduaghan spoke in a facebook post following a scathing attack by the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza over the purported comment credited to him.
The former governor was allegedly quoted to have said his successor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa is not a listening governor, noting that a man of his caliber cannot be in a place and he will not be listen to.
However, some media report (Not BigPen Online) quoted Uduaghan to have said “Okowa doesn’t listen to wise counsel” in contrast of what he reportedly said at the Koko APC campaign rally.
But reacting, the former governor while refuting the news headline, said that he cannot afford to go into the “piggery route” with the PDP image maker, Osuoza whom he appointed as Commissioner during his administration for picking on him since he left the party.
“To Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, PRO of Delta State PDP, please note, that the above statement did not come from me. In your usual style since I moved into APC, you have used it to pour venoms on me.
“I appointed you a Commissioner in my administration. I will therefore not go down that piggery route with you.
“Please get the tape of what I said, which is not new. That’s what good PROs do.
“Finally, am focused on issues concerning my aspiration to represent the Delta South Senatorial District. I expect you to focus on those issues in trying to stop me from getting the ticket.
“I will not be distracted by people like you”, the former governor and Delta South APC senatorial candidate concluded.
