2019: Ogboru Says Delta PDP’s Era Of Writing Election Results Has Ended

The Delta State Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru on Wednesday says the Peoples Democratic Party can no longer write election results against opponents.

Ogboru spoke while addressing a mammoth crowd at separate rally in Asaba and Issele-Uku, Delta state, accusing PDP of winning past elections in the state by writing results.

According to him, his party, APC would effect change of leadership in the state, because according to him, the people are tired of 20 years of maladministration

He however thanked his followers for keeping faith in the struggle to emancipate Delta State from 20 years of bad governance.

He said; “You have giving us confidence today and by the grace of God and with your Votes, this 5/5 will be a reality. So do not be afraid because we know our opponent as result writers; but this time around they cannot write result.

“It will be APC all the way. So do not worry, in few weeks time you will have a brand new Governor, and Delta State will no longer be in the opposition at the federal level, because President Buhari will win again, that is already a settled issue.”

He charged Deltans and APC faithful to come out in their number to vote APC in both Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and state Assembly elections, stressing that “this time, your votes will count, as PDP no longer have capacity to write results.

Earlier, at the palace of the Asagba of Asaba, HRM Prof. Joseph Edozien and that of HRM, Agbogidi Nduka, Obi of Issele-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha North Local Goverment Area, the APC governorship hopeful said the aspiration of Deltans for good governance will be meet this time.

The Asagba  who was represented by the Iyasere of Asaba Kingdom, Chief Patrick Onyeobi charged politicians in the state to shun violence, adding that candidates should engage in issue based Campaign, stressing that without peace, there can not be development, “therefore, we should learn to live in peace because Delta is one.

Speaking in the same vain, HRM, Agbogidi Nduka MNS, Obi of Issele-Uku Kingdom called on Deltans to see each others as one, noting that without peaceful coexistence, development will elude Delta.

On his part, State Chairman of Delta APC, Prophet Jones Erue charged Deltans to vote out the failed Delta PDP which has deceived Deltans for over 20years, accusing them of running to patch roads because election is close

He urged the people of Asaba to vote for their son Chief Great Ogboru and all Candidates from top to bottom.
