The All Progressives Congress, (APC), candidate for the Isoko South and North federal constituency, Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, has taken his campaign train round communities in Isoko Federal constituency.

Onowakpo, who is being projected to win the next month national Assembly election, last week went round several communities both in Isoko North and South local government areas.

BigPen Online reports that in all the places the campaign train berthed, Onowakpo got a rousing welcome with supporters and electorates chanting “JOT is a goal”.

Onowakpo, whose initial is J.O.T and fondly called JOT is ahead of other candidates in the race including the incumbent member representing Isoko Federal constituency, Hon Leo Ogor whose has since lost his goodwill support.

In all the communities the campaign train reached, the APC candidate who is waxing stronger by the day with his agenda for the people, received royal blessings and prayers from community leaders and elders who are also yearning for change in Isoko Federal constituency.

The Onowakpo’s campaign train which first berthed at Iyede, moved in a motorcade round Isoko North communities including Emevor, Owhe, Owhe-Ologbo, and Ozoro, the country home of his main opponent, Ogor.

The train also proceeded to Oleh, Irri, Emede, his maternal home town and later Avaira, his paternal home where he also received royal blessings and a community endorsement.

The Ovie (traditional ruler) of Aviara clan, HRM Okoroze 1, specifically assured the APC candidate whom he described as “illustrious son of the kingdom” that the entire Aviara clan is solidly behind him. He said he (Joel-Onowakpo Thomas) has been declared victorious ahead of the February 16, 2019 election.
