Delta Election: ANDP Adopts Okowa As Its Candidate

The Delta State Chapter of the Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party, (ANDP) has adopted Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), gubernatorial flag bearer as its candidate for the March 2nd, 2019 governorship election.

This was contained in a letter signed by its State Chairman, Mr. Godwin Powei Kokoimgbi, entitled: ” Letter of Endorsement/Adoption as Our Candidate in the Governorship Election 2019″.

The letter was released shortly after an expanded State Executive Committee Caucus meeting held in Warri, Delta State, which had in attendance, the ANDP National Publicity Secretary as well as the South- South Zonal Chairman.

It reads: “That the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party  Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, be endorsed and adopted as our party candidate in the fourth coming election.”

“He should be given total support by voting in mass to see him to victory to continue his good  works in Delta state for the (2nd ) second term. To partake in his development initiative in his second tenure in office.”

The ANDP explained that the decision was in line with the National Executive Committee’s resolution of the party to adopt candidates with credible records in their various States of the Federation.

“Your Excellency your achievement are marvelous in bringing peace and a secured  investment, friendly environment in Delta State, a stabilize educational development, a recognize and impressive health care delivery service, a committed human capital development agenda, a prospective agricultural technological framework and implementation.”

“For economic growth, a well deserve infrastructural road network, a sport friendly achievement of excellence, a proud model in the oil and gas sector and many more.”

“We as members of ANDP will stand by you as we believe that your performance in the second tenure will create better record and honor.”

“Congratulations and accept the assurance of our best regards,” the statement concluded.
