Oshiomhole’s ‘Mansion’ Video A Hoax Planted By PDP Serial Liars – Ebegbulem 

Mr.  Simon Ebegbulem, the Chief Press Secretary to Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has dismissed a social media video being circulated of a mansion ascribed to the Edo State former governor, Oshiomhole.

Ebegbulem, who denied the said video in a statement on Friday, said that the misleading video was being circulated by the PDP and their social media cohorts to hoodwinked the public.

According to him,  any keen observer of the frustrations of the PDP leaders since they were booted out of Edo State, will know that that particular video went viral last December, in an attempt to discredit the personality of the Comrade Chairman, when they got wind of his becoming the next chairman of the APC, after Chief John Oyegun’s tenure.

He said that the futile effort of the proponents of the said video hit the wall when he (Oshiomhole) eventually emerged as the sole candidate to lead the APC, in the June 23 National Convention of the ruling party, despite  their failed efforts to discredit him.

Continuing, Ebegbulem, in the statement obtained by BigPen Online on Friday said, “very sadly is the fact that one of those circulating the mischievous video is one of the guys whose mother was suspended by the Edo State Government for collecting illegal levies from innocent students in a secondary school in the state.

“We really don’t intend to join issues with these PDP hired social media men and women, because the integrity of Comrade Oshiomhole can never be faulted by anyone who knows him.

“Rewind back to pre-2012 in Edo State, when these same unscrupulous elements went to town with grossly photo shopped supposedly aerial view of an imagined Oshiomhole mansion, which the discerning generality wasted no time in rejecting for what it was. Their ruse fell flat back then, and so will it never work.

“For purpose of not misleading the unsuspecting members of the public, the mansion being circulated belongs to Aubrey Drake Graham, American Rap artist and not Oshiomhole. This video has been in circulation but the PDP kept dishing it out to suit their whims and caprices.

“Oshiomhole built his Iyamho country home while he was President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC). Besides, any hard working Nigerian will wish that Oshiomhole actually owns such a mansion haven served as President of the NLC for 8years and Governor of Edo State for another 8years.

“After all, we have PDP leaders who have never won any election, occupying mansions bigger than the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City. We have many of such leaders in Edo State and other states in the country. Our prayers is that may God bless Oshiomhole to own such a beautiful mansion, because he deserves it. He has lived a modest life but people who are jealous of his success; PDP godfathers, whom he disgraced out of power in Edo State, have kept wailing.

“And, let me put these haters on notice. Oshiomhole, as National Chairman of the ruling party, will deliver President Muhammadu Buhari and more states for the APC come 2019. No amount of blackmail and misleading reports and lies on the social media can stop him. God has blessed him with special gifts that are unique and he will use them to his advantage.

“He left Edo State as governor in clean sheet and his fearlessness, uprightness and duggedness in defence of the masses of this nation cannot be faulted. Lies like I said in my previous comments can never overshadow truth”, the statement added.
