Chindah-led APC C’ttee Submits Report In Asaba; Parallel Congress Report Also Submitted In Abuja

The six-man Ward and Local Government Committee of All Progressive Congress led by Emmanuel Chindah in Delta State have submitted its report to the National Working Committee, NWC of the party in Asaba, Delta state capital, BigPen Online can report.
This is coming as the sacked chairman of the committee, Alhaji Sani Dododo was said to have also submitted the outcome of the ‘parallel Congress’ he reportedly conducted in the state to some officials in Abuja.
A letter signed by APC’s National Secretary, Hon. Mai Malu Buni which was obtained by BigPen Online on Tuesday, however shows Emmanuel Chindah led committee is the ‘authentic’ committee recognized by the party’s NWC.
Recall that the National Working Committee, NWC of the party had in a letter dated May 10, addressed to the Delta State Commissioner of Police and other security agencies in the state, said: “The chairman, Alhaji Sani Dododo, has however been replaced with the new chairman, Chief Emmanuel Chindah.”
APC’s National Secretary, Hon. Mai Malu Buni who signed the letter said; “We request that you give them maximum support and police security throughout their stay in the state”.
It was gathered that following the conclusion of the congresses in the state, the Chindah-led committee on Monday submitted its report to the Ward and Local Government Appeal Committee at Asaba.
Reports however say despite been sacked by the National Working Committee, NWC, the former committee chairman, Alhaji Sani Dododo reportedly conducted a parallel local government congress in state and submit its report to some party officials, instead of NWC at the party’s headquarters in Abuja .
BigPen Online was told that sacked Dododo’s committee allegedly connived with Senator Omo-Agege and Chief Great Ogboru to conduct LG Congresses on unapproved venues in total disregard to the directives of the NWC of the party.
“The ousted chairman in company of the Delta State APC chairman, Jones Erue, Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege, Chief Great Ogboru and a host of others, took the result of a parallel congress conducted in the state to party’s secretariat for submission in a bid to give their followers “false hope”, our source said.
