2019: APC Delta South Cedes Four Years Tenure Governorship Ticket To North

Leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC), Delta South Senatorial District have agreed to align with their Delta North counterparts to allow a governorship candidate of the party to emerge from Delta north for the 2019 general election.

They however gave a condition to allow Delta North produce the candidate of  the party.

The candidate, according to the Delta South party leaders must have only one term of four years.

The decision was taken at an enlarged Executive Committee meeting of Delta South Senatorial District led by Yemi Omaghomi, held in Warri on Sunday.
