FULANI HERDSMEN KILLINGS AND PRESIDENT BUHARI’S STAKE IN CATTLE BUSINESS

Published

on

It is a common knowledge that the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is one of the biggest investors in cattle business in Nigeria. He is also a core Fulani man, a descendant of world renowned Jihadist, Uthman Dan Fodio.
It follow that as a core investor in cattle business with 270 cows declared as part of his assets, coupled with the fact that he is Fulani by origin, President Buhari is presently a Judge in his own case. So long as he remains the President of Nigeria, the criminal activities of Fulani Herdsmen shall dominate our national discuss without solution.
Furthermore, it appears that the series of security meetings held recently in Aso Rock villa were calculated to deceive Nigerians so as to believe that the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari is working out solutions.
Far from it, solutions are not at sight, not today, not tomorrow and not when Buhari is President of Nigeria. The body language of Mr President is sure and simple; your crops and water for cows or your life. If not so, why is it extremely difficult for President Buhari to issue a sincere executive order, directing the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and other Arrowheads of security agencies to disarm Fulani Herdsmen and have them prosecuted as stipulated in our constitution and criminal laws?
Our constitution states clearly in chapter IV that every Nigerian have right to life and that nobody has right to take the life of another except for self defence.
The Fulani Herdsmen acquired illegal arms and ammunition with which they brazenly kill harmless and armless Nigerians in their own farmlands; just to allow their cattle to feed on commercial crops of their helpless victims. This is a classical example of man inhumanity to man; open and broad day light murder without justice.
Why is President Buhari paying lip service to these mad killings? Why is it that Mr President’s love for cow and his Fulani kinsmen has beclouded his moral sense of justice as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
Mr President swore to serve Nigerians and to protect and defend them as C-in-C. Is this the CHANGE that APC and Buhari promised Nigerians in 2015? This country is creeping on her belly right now and President Buhari appears to be adamant to these great injustice and criminal activities of his kinsmen. Tribal bigotry has beclouded Mr President and Nigeria is at the verge of total disunity and complete collapse. It’s a pity!
Why is it that since 2015 that the Fulani Herdsmen started killing innocent Nigerians with joy and happiness; none of them have been disarmed, prosecuted and punished for their heinous crime? Why is it that Mr President cherish cattle more than the hundreds of Nigerians dying every day through brutal killings by his kinsmen? Did President Buhari swore to protect cattle far and above Nigerians.
Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people. In Nigeria, a radical paradigm shift is starring us in the face; APC and Buhari Democracy is for cattle Fulani, by cattle Fulani and for cattle Fulani.
If not so, why is Mr President deriving joy in a sad situation where his Fulani cattle kinsmen are killing innocent Nigerians in Benue and around the country without taking drastic and firm measures to address this grave injustice and criminality? I weep for my people, I weep for APC national government radical and malfunctioning administration.
On Monday 12th Februry, 2018; Mr President hosted an enlarged security meeting and nothing meaningful was said at the end of it all. Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina merely said the meeting concluded on lasting solutions to the insecurity problems that has bedevilled Nigeria through the criminal activities of Fulani Herdsmen.
Nigerians thought Mr President would direct the security agencies to disarm and arrest Herdsmen in possession of arms and ammunition across the country; but alas no such directives. Why is it that Mr President is reluctant to deal with this insecurity once and for all?
Is it a crime that Nigerians voted for a Fulani man to be their President? When has tribal bigotry gained upper hand in governance of the Nigerian nation?
President Buhari has indeed shown that he is a tribal bigot by His actions and body language. Nigerians will handle the situation perfectly by voting out Buhari and APC in 2019.
