Abducted UNIMAID Lecturers, Policewomen Regain Freedom

Finally, three lecturers of the University of Maiduguri who were abducted by Boko Haram have regained their freedom.

The lecturers who have been in the custody of the  daredevil terrorist organisation since the 25th of July 2017 were kidnapped in the course of exploring for oil in the North East.

Several staffs of the university had lost their lives in the attack that led to their abduction.

 

Meanwhile, the wife of one of those abducted, Dr. N.A Yusuf had gone into labour on hearing the news of her husband’s abduction and gave birth to a girl who will clock 197 days today.

Dr. Yusuf will be setting his eyes on the new addition to his family for the first time, ALEDEH had reported.

President Muhammad Buhari also expressed his happiness about the news of the freedom of the abducted individuals as he restated his commitment to ensuring peace reigns and security of the populace is achieved.
