Major Police Shake-Up, Delta State Gets New Commissioner Of Police

A new commissioner of Police has been appointed in Delta state following a major shake-up of the Police High Command.

This re-deployment is coming following the approval of some CPs to proceed for the senior executive course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic  studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos.

A police signal detailed, DTO: 061808/11/2017 and CE.4000/FS/FHQ/ABJ/V.3/202, shows that Zanna Ibrahim and six other senior police officers from across the country have been nominated and asked to proceed on a course at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPSS), Kuru Jos.
Another police signal with this numbers DTO: 15835/12/2017, and TH.5362/FS/FHQ/ABJ/V.7/512, signed by Sgt Ibrahim Saidu, Force Secretary Admin, and obtained by our correspondent gave the name of Haruna Huzi Mshelia as the new commissioner of police replacing Mr. Zanna.

Others states affected by this shake-up are Jigawa state, Adamawa state and sokoto state.

Their new commissioners are Mawa Bala Senchi, Abdullahi Yerima and Murtala Mani respectively.
