PDP Summons Aspirants, States Chairmen As  Okowa’s C’ttee Makes Final Strategic Planning

The Leadership of the National Convention Planning Committee, Sub Committees and members of the National Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have summoned all the Aspirants and Party State Chapter Chairmen for a strategic meeting tomorrow (Friday) that would usher a new leadership for the country’s main opposition party.

The meetings which would clear ground for the National Convention of the party on Saturday have been scheduled to hold interalia; National Chairmanship Aspirants at 10:00Am, Other Aspirants for various Offices at 10:30Am while that of State Party Chapter Chairmen will hold at 11:00Am

A terse statement signed by Senator Dr Authur Ifeanyi Okowa, Chairman, National Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Delta State, says the PDP National Secretariat, Plot 1970, Michael Okpara Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja is the venue of the meeting.

Attendance to the meeting is compulsory for all aspirants and state party chairmen who are also expected to be punctual.
