Nigeria@57: We Are Reaching Out To All Nigerians Including Our Political Class – Christ Embassy

As Nigerians celebrate the country’s 57 Independence Anniversary, Christ Embassy on Saturday said its Reach Out Nigeria project is transforming the country including ministering to the political class in the country.

The Reach Out Nigeria movement championed by Christ Embassy President, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was flagged off in 2007 with the aimed at saving lives and providing infrastructure facilities to the less privilege in the society.

Zonal Pastor of Christ Embassy in Warri, Delta state, Evangelist Eddy Owase, who addressed newsmen to harald the Independence anniversary, said that every sector of the country is involved in spreading the message tailored to transform the country.

He said that the “Rhapsody of Realities”, the daily devotional of the church was in response to the need to create a better Nigeria, renew the spirit of patriotism in her citizens, promote a new positive way of thinking across the land, as well as establish God’s Word in the hearts of the people as the sure solution to all human problems.

According to him, the Reachout Nigeria movement has partners in all sector of the economy, emphasizing that the church is also committed to the change agenda of the leadership of the country.

“The Reachout Nigeria is not limited to the downtrodden. We are reaching out to all sector of the economy, the political class inclusive. The word of God is the most potent change agent ever and we are spreading it to all, that’s why it is called Reachout Nigeria. It is a movement that involved everyone because everyone has a role to play to better this great country”.

He said that though the country has been going through some challenges, including agitations for restructuring, God still has interest by preserving us as a nation.

While maintaining that there was every reason to celebrate Nigeria during her independence day anniversary, Evangelist Owase said that the Reach Out Nigeria project besides spreading the gospel through its “Rhapsody of Realities”, this year it has also carried out construction of bore holes in some communities in Delta State, building of skill acquisition centre at Warri Prisons and donation of vehicles to Warri prisons as well as gifts to old people homes and motherless homes among others.
