Uduaghan Denies Any Rift With Obiano

Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan
Former Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has dismissed allegations that he was in cold war with incumbent Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano over some failed deals.
One Fejiro Oliver had reportedly posted on the social media that the former governor had allegedly threatened to expose Obiano over a sex escapee involving the latter and a female acquaintance of Delta origin.
But Uduaghan who spoke in a statement through his media Aide, Sunny Areh, on Wednesday said the report alleging the rift with Obiano was libelous and defamatory.
The former governor said he had cordial relationship with the neighbouring governor while he held sway as Delta State governor.
The statement read: “A libellous and defamatory publication by one Fejiro Oliver (Oghenedoro Tega), has just come to the attention of His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Immediate past Governor of Delta State.
“We wish to state for the benefit of the discerning public that the former Governor has no issues whatsoever with the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano.
“They worked cordially while as Brother Governors and have maintained the cordiality since leaving office.
“The general public should please take note and ignore the vexatious innuendos and lies contained in the said publication”.
