Police Kills Notorious ‘Political Thug’ In Delta

A notorious political thug who is known within Isoko axis of Delta State as “Ewele” has been reported killed by the police.
BigPen Online was told on Wednesday that the deceased simply identified as Oghenero Akpoboma, Alias Ewele met his waterloo on Monday following report that he was allegedly involved in a kidnap incident.
He was reportedly shot died when trying to resist police arrest in Oyede community, Isoko North Council Area.
It was gathered that police deployed to Oyede on account of a kidnap incident in which Ewele was fingered shot the deceased on the leg when resisting arrest but he later died from excessive bleeding while he was being conveyed to Asaba, the state capital.
Sources revealed that Ewele, shot into notoriety during the Irri crisis where he worked on the side of Josiah Uturu and was allegedly inherited by member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Mr. Leo Ogor after the Irri community crisis for “political thuggery”.
State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ibrahim Zanna couldn’t pick calls to his mobile phone for comments as at press time.
