BREAKING! Kogi Senator, Dino Melaye Granted N90m Bail

Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial District has been granted N90 million naira bail.

Nigeria’s police arraigned the senator before a magistrate court in Abuja, on Wednesday, May 2.

According to a TVC report, apart from the 90 million naira bail, the Kogi West lawmaker was asked to provide two sureties.

Senator Melaye appeared in court on a stretcher. Journalists were prevented from going into the court premises.

ALEDEH had reported that the senator landed in the hospital after he sustained injuries when he jumped out of a moving vehicle conveying him to a court in Kogi for a gun-running case.
