Police Arrest Female Drug Baron, Three Others with Large Quantities of Illicit Substances in Delta
Anti-Crime Patrol operatives of Orerokpe Police Division of the Delta State police command, have arrested a suspected notorious female drug baron and three others during a separate raid on drug hideout in the state.
While the female suspect was apprehended in Ugholo community, Okpe Local Government Area, the other suspects were picked up in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area.
The suspected baron identified as Justina Onokpasa, aged 33, was busted by operatives on April 15, 2026.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe who confirmed the development in a statement, on Saturday, said that during the raid, the operatives recovered exhibits which includes two large bags of weeds suspected to be Canadian loud and also 300 small cans of substances also suspected to be Canadian Loud.
Other items recovered include, 30 bottles of CSC codeine, 10 sachets of tramadol, two sachets of ‘Super Royal’ (Redboy), 12 sachets of Swinol, twelve pieces of molly drugs, and 400 empty distribution cans.
Edafe said that the suspect is in custody and investigation is ongoing.
Similarly, operatives of State Anti-cult Unit (SACU), on April 16, also raided a drug spots in Abraka, and arrested three suspects.
The police image maker disclosed that during the raid, large quantities of weed suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs were recovered.
He said that the suspects are in custody and investigation is ongoing.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, commended the operatives and reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to sustain the operations, urging the public to continue to support the police with credible information.
