APC Chieftain Hails Tinubu’s Transformative Leadership, Predicts Landslide Victory in 2027

Dr. Michael Nwoko, Chief of Staff to Senator Ned Nwoko, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its bold reforms and economic revival efforts, confidently projecting a sweeping victory for the president in the 2027 elections amid growing political opposition.

Nwoko stated this during a television talk show. He highlighted key achievements of the Tinubu-led government and projected a resounding victory for the president in the 2027 general elections.

“President Tinubu has redefined leadership in Nigeria. He is clearly in a hurry to carry out reforms and move the country forward,” Dr. Nwoko stated. “He feels the pulse of the people and has shown commitment to reshaping Nigeria’s economic foundation.”

Among the notable achievements, Dr. Nwoko emphasized the revival of Nigeria’s local refineries, which had remained dormant for over two decades despite the country being one of the world’s top crude oil producers.

“For the first time in decades, our refineries are working. Soon, we will meet our domestic fuel needs and even export refined products,” he said. “This is a major turnaround.”

He also commended President Tinubu’s bold move to end the controversial fuel subsidy regime, calling it a landmark decision that past administrations lacked the courage to make.

“The removal of the fuel subsidy immediately increased allocations to state and local governments, giving them greater capacity to drive grassroots development,” Dr. Nwoko noted.

On the emerging political coalition aimed at challenging President Tinubu in the next election cycle, Dr. Nwoko welcomed the development as a healthy feature of democracy but downplayed its impact on Tinubu’s prospects.

“A vibrant opposition is necessary in any democracy. However, when you measure governance by performance, which is the true barometer, President Tinubu has done exceptionally well. The majority of Nigerians support his leadership,” he asserted.

Dr. Nwoko expressed confidence that President Tinubu would secure re-election in 2027, predicting an overwhelming victory based on what he described as the administration’s strong performance and growing political support.

“Regardless of where the coalition is coming from, the president will win in 2027. With high-profile defections and the realignment of influential figures like Senator Ned Nwoko, the APC’s chances are only getting stronger,” he noted.

As Nigeria approaches another electoral cycle, the political landscape is expected to intensify, with Tinubu’s reform agenda and economic policies likely to remain central to public discourse.
