DESPO Students Win Broadcast Competition At NUJ, Warri

Three students of the Delta State Polytechnic Otefe, Oghara, has emerged winners in a broadcast competition package for students undergoing Industrial Training (IT) at the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Warri Correspondent Chapel, Delta state.
The students were recognized for their outstanding broadcast presentation during the event held on 26th March 2021 at the union press centre Warri.
Judging from three categories, finalists were chosen from the competition held between students of Delta State Polytechnic Otefe Oghara and Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro.
The three best students who emerged winners from Otefe-Oghara Polytechnic are; Best female broadcaster, Lebi Scholastica Oburoh, Best male broadcaster, Udu Ochuko David, and Best female broadcast partner, Okpako Deborah.
Their Broadcast presentation was judged by Mr Dele Fasan, South-South Bureau chief of Galaxy Television Lagos, and Lady Ejiro Umukoro, General Manager Mega 89.1FM Warri, and Broadcast specialist, Media trainer of LighRay media Academy.
The panel comprises of two other mass communication professionals.
The award was presented in the presence of other budding Journalists from both Polytechnics amidst excitement and jubilations from victorious students of Otefe, Oghara Polytechnic.
