Delta South Election: You’ll Always Hear My Vioce In The Senate – Uduaghan

Immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and APC Delta South Senatorial District Candidate, has said that with his developmental blueprint as a senator, the people of Delta South would always hear his voice talking about issues that would better the lot of the people.

Uduaghan spoke in Bomadi in continuation of the APC governorship campaign rallies across the 25 local government councils of the state.

Canvassing vote for all APC candidates in the area,  Uduaghan who spoke at a point in popular pidgin english said, “una go hear Warri Pikin (referring to himself) voice, una go hear Eselemo’s voices at the red and green chamber (respectively).

Uduaghan said, they barely hear the Delta South voice at the Senate and House of Representatives House in Abuja, maintaining that with the combination of himself and the former president of the Ijaw Youth Council, Prince Collins Eselemo and Ogboru being elected as governor of Delta State, their constituents will feel the impact of good governance and democracy.

BigPen Online reports that the former governor has in his kit as he prepare for the red chamber, plans to push for laws that will improve income accruing to oil-bearing communities, law that would compels every company operating in the Niger Delta region to contribute a percentage to the host communities as well as plans to ensure a near absolute peace and security in the Niger Delta, through laws that would create room for engagement of local youths to assist security agencies in intelligence gathering among others.

Speaking at the rally, Ogboru told the people that his administration would facilitate the establishment of the local branches of all the bank in the state capital in Bomadi to bring banking activities closer to the riverine people.

“I heard you people have so many itching problems, within 6 months of my government, I will ensure light comes back to Bomadi… Again one of your problems here is that there is no single bank for commercial purposes, we will ensure we engage the banks to bring their local branches here while we build on state infrastructures”, he promised.

According to the APC governorship candidate, with him being the Governor of the oil rich state, Uduaghan, the immediate past governor being the Delta South senator, Prince Collins Eselemo being a House of Representatives member and Preye Okaba being a House of Assembly member, Bomadi would be properly position and develop as urban city.

Meanwhile, the APC campaign train was earlier at the palace of HRM Barr. Shedrach Peremobowei Erebulu, Aduo 111, The Pere of Kabowei kingdom and the palace of HRM Godspower Tam Oporomo, The Pere of Kerebiri Kingdom respectively.
