Okowa Woos Ndokwa People, Says Unity Will Give APC Massive Votes In 2027

Former governor of Delta State and Delta North Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has said that the unity of the Ndokwa people will translate into massive votes for President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Okowa stated this on Saturday at Ibabu, Onicha-Ukwuani, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, during a reconciliation meeting with aggrieved members of the APC led by Chief Dennis Okoh.
The meeting, convened by Delta Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., brought together factions of the party in Ndokwa West to forge a common front ahead of 2027.
“It is very, very good when brothers reconcile,” Okowa said.
“I thank the Deputy Governor for making this happen, and I thank Dennis Okoh for helping our brothers who disagreed to agree, because in politics, we must disagree to agree.
“The Deputy Governor is the highest political office-holder in Delta North and the second-highest political office-holder in Delta State, so, we should support him to get the highest number of votes from Delta North.
“We must pour our hearts out in full to work for the APC; if you all put your minds to work, there is no way that you will not deliver the highest number of votes,” Okowa said.
The former governor expressed confidence that President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will win the 2027 elections, adding that Ndokwa people should play politics of inclusion and accessibility to win more supporters.
Earlier, Deputy Governor Onyeme had said Ndokwa unity will be evident at the polls, noting that the people are numerous, peaceful and blessed with oil resources.
According to him, Ndokwa West has over 100,000 registered voters and collectively can deliver over 80 per cent of votes for APC.
“The Free Trade Zone, Kwale, will witness a lot of activities next year; so, let us take the 2027 elections personally,” Onyeme said.
“If we vote massively for President Tinubu, I am sure that more development will come to our people. Voting for President Tinubu and all the candidates of the APC is in our best interest.
“It is better that they call me the most loyal Deputy Governor than the most stubborn Deputy Governor,” he added.
APC Chairman for Delta North, Engr. Dan Ossai, expressed joy that there are no longer dissenting voices, urging members to remain united to deliver over 70,000 votes from Ndokwa West.
Leader of the aggrieved members, Chief Dennis Okoh, said, “what we are seeing here today is oneness; we disagree to agree, and today, we have reconciled to work together as one people.”
