Oyebanji Hails Re-Election as Vote of Confidence in Tinubu, Vows Greater Progress for Ekiti

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has described his re-election as a strong vote of confidence in the administration of President Bola Tinubu, attributing the achievements recorded in the state to the support and resources provided by the Federal Government.
Speaking with journalists after his re-election, Oyebanji said the outcome of the poll reflected the approval of his administration’s performance by the people of Ekiti State and demonstrated public trust in President Tinubu’s leadership.
”As far as I’m concerned, what happened yesterday is the validation of our performance by Ekiti people, but not only Ekiti State,” he said.
The governor maintained that the successes recorded by his administration over the past four years were made possible through the support of the President.
”It is a vote of confidence in the President because whatever we have done in the last four years in Ekiti State, after God, Mr President takes the glory because he provides the resources for us to work,” Oyebanji stated.
Expressing gratitude to the people of the state for renewing his mandate, the governor pledged to intensify development efforts and accelerate ongoing projects and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of residents.
Declaring that “the best has just begun,” Oyebanji assured Ekiti people that his second term would focus on delivering greater dividends of democracy and expanding opportunities for economic growth and social development across the state.
