Oborevwori Hails Former Delta Chief Judge, Justice Marshal Umukoro, at 70

‎Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated former Chief Judge of Delta State, Justice Marshal Umukoro, on the occasion of his 70th birthday

‎In a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, praised Justice Umukoro for his integrity, diligence, and exceptional commitment to the judicial service, noting that his contributions significantly advanced the growth and development of the judiciary in Delta State.

‎The statement said, Umukoro is a distinguished jurist whose legacy in the state judiciary remains remarkable.

‎The governor recalled that Justice Umukoro’s illustrious judicial career peaked with his appointment as Chief Judge of Delta State in 2015, a position he held until his retirement in 2021.

‎However,Oborevwori commended the former Chief Judge for notable achievements during his tenure, especially his role in strengthening the state judiciary and securing full judicial autonomy under his leadership.

‎Describing him as an accomplished legal luminary and Life Bencher, the governor said Justice Umukoro’s unwavering dedication to justice and service to humanity left an enduring legacy in Delta State’s judicial system.

‎“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I join your family, friends, and professional colleagues in celebrating this important milestone,” he said

‎He further prayed for good health, wisdom, and fulfillment for the former Chief Judge as he marks his 70th birth anniversary
