APC Chieftain States 8 Reasons Why Ned Nwoko Is the Best Candidate to Represent Delta North in Decades

The Director General of the Technical Committee on Creation of Anioma State, Ogbueshi Godfrey Odogwu, has itemized eight reasons why Senator Ned Nwoko should return to the Senate for second term.

1. He will sustain the gains of the Anioma State creation process and complete the excellent work he started in 2023 with his Senate colleagues to actualize the creation of Anioma State, with capital in Asaba. Discontinuity would not only delay progress, it would reset years of painstaking advancement. So he needs to return and complete the job.

2. Senator Ned Nwoko has a legislative footprint which reveals a legislator with a national mindset and constituency depth. His motions and bills in the 10th Senate span constitutional reforms, fiscal federalism, youth empowerment, healthcare access, social security, national security, diaspora inclusion, public sector accountability and more. Hence, he is a multiple award winning Senator of this 10th Senate. He needs return to push through these bills of national importance to become laws, for national impact and to the credit and benefit of Anioma land.

3. In Delta North, his representation has translated into measurable infrastructural, agricultural, educational and healthcare interventions across the nine local government areas of Delta North. From water supply schemes, to rural roads, schools renovations, medical outreaches, empowerment programs, solar electrification initiatives and agricultural mechanization support. He needs return to the Senate to do more for Ndi Anioma.

4. He is a leader with clarity of direction and the courage to confront structural inequities. He has demonstrated the intellectual capacity, political stamina and legislative audacity required for the tasks ahead. Therefore, he needs to return to continue to fight and achieve results for Ndi Anioma.

5. He is a man full of compassion and generosity- granting scholarships not only to Anioma indigent students but also many other non indigenes – paying off medical bills of the less privileged, funding startups of various small businesses and granting regular cash support to needy families.

6. He carries the hopes and aspirations of the vast majority of Anioma women and youths, not necessarily the politicians, but the market women, farmers, artisans, professionals and students. They see him as genuine, approachable, listening, respectful- operating an open door policy quite unlike typical Nigerian politician. With Ned, there are no lies, no pretense, no gimmicks- just being Ned, always exuding raw love for his people. He needs return to the Senate to keep hope alive and achieve more for our people.

7. Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko has consistently demonstrated his respect for our traditional institutions. He regularly consults with our Royal Majesties, bringing them together as occasion demands and updating them on developments pertaining to Anioma State creation and other positive developmental initiatives.

He enjoys the confidence, trust and goodwill of a vast majority of Anioma traditional rulers. They must rise in unity and unequivocally and back his return to the Senate to continue the excellent work he is doing for Ndi Anioma.

8. He is undoubtedly the best candidate in decades to represent Delta North Senatorial District. Much has been achieved so far but he needs to do more. He has been tried and tested, an achiever and goal getter with the character, capacity and compassion to meet the yearnings of Ndi Anioma. We must all mobilize and turn out massively to return Distinguished Senator Ned Munir Nwoko for another impactful second term in the Red Chamber. We shall prevail by the grace of God.
