Court Grants Malami, Son, Wife N1.5bn Bail

Abubakar Malami, a former attorney-general of the federation (AGF), his son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, and his wife, Bashir Asabe, have been granted bail by a federal high court in Abuja in the sum of N500 million each totally N1.5 billion bond.

Delivering ruling on Wednesday, Emeka Nwite, presiding judge, said each of the defendants must produce two sureties in like sum who must own landed property within Asokoro, Maitama or Gwarimpa areas in the FCT.
