Edo House Of Assembly Reshuffles Leadership, Removes Natasha, 2Face’s Lover

The Edo State House of Assembly on Monday, announced leadership change in its hierarchy with Hon. Natasha Osawaru, lover of popular Nigerian artist, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, losing her position as Minority Leader.
The changes following the imbalance of power within the House after four lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) moved to the All Progressives Congress (APC), giving the APC majority control.
Besides Natasha, Charity Aiguobarueghian, another PDP lawmaker, lost her role as Majority Leader, as well as Yekini Idaiye who was also removed as Chief Whip.
Announcing the changes at plenary, the House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku who maintained his seat, alongside the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Maria Edeko, both PDP members, said that the shift followed a letter from APC’s acting chairman, Jarret Tenebe, which was addressed to the House.
Jonathan Aigbokhan, representing Esan West, was named the new Majority Leader. Addeh Emakhu Isibor from Esan North-East I became Deputy Leader, and Lecky Hussein Mustapha from Etsako West I was picked as the new Chief Whip.
During the announcement, the Speaker explained that the PDP would now have to submit new names for its principal officers in the House.
“Although Agbebaku and Edeko stayed in their positions for now, there is uncertainty about whether that will remain the case as the leadership structure continues to shift”, a party chieftain said
