NIS Dissociates Self From Fake Recruitment Ads, Urges Nigerians To Be Wary Of Fraudsters

The Nigeria Immigration Service has issued a warning against fraudulent recruitment advertisements that are circulating on unauthorized websites.

The Comptroller General of Immigration, Kemi Nanna Nandap, has expressed concern over these deceptive schemes, which pose a huge threat to the financial and personal security of unsuspecting Nigerians.

The Nigeria Immigration Service strongly disassociates itself from these illegitimate recruitment activities and urges the public to be cautious.

According to DCI Kenneth Udo, Service Public Relations Officer, in a statement, “The attention of the Comptroller General of Immigration, Kemi Nanna Nandap pcc, mmis, fsm, has been drawn to a fraudulent Nigeria Immigration recruitment advertisements circulating on unauthorized websites. These deceptive schemes are targeting unsuspecting Nigerians, posing a significant threat to their financial and personal security.

“The Nigeria Immigration Service vehemently dissociates itself from these illegitimate recruitment activities and urges the public to exercise caution. There is currently no ongoing recruitment process within the Service. Any claims suggesting otherwise are false and should be disregarded.

“The authentic Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment exercises are exclusively advertised through reputable national dailies, television broadcasts, and our official website: immigration.gov.ng. Importantly, participation in these legitimate processes is entirely free of charge.

“CGI Kemi Nanna Nandap urges the general public to remain vigilant and refrain from engaging with fraudulent recruitment schemes.
