Gov Oborevwori Appoints Management Team Of State Christian, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori



Delta State Governor, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointments into the Boards of the State Christian and Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards.

The appointments was contained in a statement by Tetsola Anino Nelson
Permanent Secretary (State Protocol matters), for Secretary to the State Government on 16th December 2023.

CHRISTIAN PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD
1. Apostle Sylvanus Okorote – Chairman
2. Rev. Father Christopher Ekabo – Secretary
3. Arcbishop Godday Iboyi – Member
4. Rev. Dr. Justin Okoroji – Member
5. Rev. Monday Madukwe – Member
6. Ven. Robert O. Oziwele – Member
7. Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Patricia Buzugbe – Member.

MUSLIM PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD
1. Alhaji Anwalu Tukur – Chairman
2. Dr. Ismaila Okundaye – Secretary
3. Alhaji Suleiman Jauro – Member
4. Dr. Ibrahim Afolabi A. – Member
5. Hajiya Maryam Nabiri – Member
6. Garba Sam Clark – Member

The Governor has also approved the appointments of the following as State Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators on Religious Matters;
1. Rev. Cyril Okonye – State Coordinator
2. Ven. Justin C. Olomu – State Deputy Coordinator (North)
3. Ven. Freeborn A. Onokpite – State Deputy Coordinator (Central)
4. Rev. Godspower Agbuduta – State Deputy Coordinator (South)

The Date and time of their inauguration will be announced later.
