FCT Minister Wike Dismisses Heads Of 21 Government Entities In FCTA

Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has announced the immediate dismissal of the heads of 21 parastatals, agencies, and government-run companies under the jurisdiction of the FCTA.

This was contained in a statement issued by Anthony Ogunleye, the Director of Press at the office of the Minister.

According to the statement, the senior-most officers in rank would take over the responsibilities of their respective offices, pending the appointment of new heads.

Those affected by this decision include:

1. The Group MD/CEO of Abuja Investment Company Ltd
2. The CEO/MD of Abuja Markets Management Ltd
3. The MD/CEO of Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company
4. The CEO/MD of Abuja Property Development Company
5. The CEO/MD of Abuja Technology Village Free Trade Zone Company
6. The CEO/MD of Abuja Film Village International
7. The CEO/MD of Powernoth AICL Equipment Leasing Company Ltd
8. The MD of Abuja Broadcasting Corporation
9. The MD of Abuja Enterprise Agency
10. The GM of FCT Water Board
11. The DG of FCT Emergency Management Agency
12. The Executive Secretary of FCT Primary Healthcare Board
13. The Director General of Hospital Management Board
14. The Director of Abuja Environmental Protection Board
15. The Director of FCT Scholarship Board
16. The Director of FCT Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board
17. The Director of Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board
18. The Coordinator of Abuja Infrastructure Investment Center
19. The Director of FCT Health Insurance Scheme
20. The Coordinator of Satellite Towns Development Department
21. The Coordinator of Abuja Metropolitan Management Council
