Oil Mining Licence OML 34, ND-Western Asset Management Team, and Nigeria Exploration and Production Limited joint venture have given bags of rice, bags of salt, cartons of groundnut oil, and a variety of drinks to the local communities in OML 34 in the spirit of the Christmas holiday season.

The Manager of Government Community Relations and Security, Mr. Sheidu Aiguedo, who presented the items on behalf of the Management of NEPL/ND-Western OML 34 AMT, said the intention was to make people of the host communities happy at the festive period.

Aiguedo who was represented by the Community Liaison Officer, Mrs. Eunice Akpourhobo said that the company is committed to alleviating the sufferings of the people following the high cost of living.

She maintained that the act fell under corporate social responsibility for the oil company.

Mr. Aiguedo urged the residents of Oml 34 communities to keep providing the company with the favourable conditions needed for it to succeed in its operations.
